I hope you are all having a wonderful summer break, and are looking forward to returning to training this Tuesday 20th August.

Throughout the Summer, we have been working tirelessly in the background to prepare for the new season, and I thought an update as to the clubs current position would be helpful for all.

AGM
The club held it’s Annual General Meeting on 31st July. The Executive Committee proposed some new additions to the committee and as we didn’t reach Quorum, we need you to Vote either IN FAVOUR or NOT IN FAVOUR of the proposed additions. You should notice a survey appear in the top of your app. Please take the 1 min to vote either way. This is your club, and we need your feedback. The meeting minutes for the AGM are attached.

EIH REGISTRATION
Thank you to those of you who have already registered their player(s) on Gameday. This is a MANDATORY part of playing Ice Hockey in the UK, and therefore we cannot welcome you back to training until this has been completed. We have added a quick link on the Team App dashboard that will take you to the registration page, alternatively you can visit https://www.solenticehockey.co.uk/registration

PLAYER CODE OF CONDUCT / REGISTRATION PACKS
Apologies for the delay in getting these out. In addition to the Gameday registration, we have the usual Player and Parent registration packs. These have been totally revamped to include guidance from EIH, but also to offer a comprehensive view of our expectations of our players, parents/guardians and spectators. These packs will need to be completed before you player can play games this season.

Team Managers will plan individual Team Meetings after liasing with Coaches.

Head Coach, Alex Murray, is putting his coaching team together and Team Coaching staff for the 24/25 season will be announced a.s.a.p.

FIXTURES
We are still waiting on fixtures to be announce from the EIH and will update Team App as soon as they are confirmed.
